about

First track from my EP, entitled Long Time Coming.

lyrics

I've been up
I've been down
I've been to so many places
But I still haven't found my home
Tell me baby, tell me where I belong
Cause I'm an immigrant here
And an emigrant back there
I know where I've come from
But I'm not sure where I'm heading

I've been North
I've been South
I lived in Brussels, London and I
Know Budapest as my hometown
But baby I still haven't figured out
Cause my soul is starving
The compass keeps on turning
And I want to find my place in this world

As it feels like there must be a place
Where I can settle down
And end this chase
Of the perfect life and the usual lies
A place I can call my home

I've been East
I've been West
But I had to realize my friend
No culture is perfect
It all comes down to personal preference
Maybe home is within me
Like a quick running stream
It might flow into the sea
But please bear with me

As it feels like there must be a place
Where I can settle down
And end this chase
Of the perfect life and the usual lies
A place I can call my home

Everyone's always on about finding your inner peace
The perfect job the special one
And settling down, having kids
And all that planning stuff
I know I'm gonna figure this out eventually
But hearing it all the time
Makes me so frustrated
That I just want to sit down and play my guitar till me fingers bleed
